McPhee stands out for Cardinal

Mount Rainier High School graduate Brittany McPhee is having a solid season for the Stanford Cardinal women's basketball team, helping it to the Pac-12 tournament title and into the NCAA tournament.
McPhee carries a 12.7 points per game average into NCAA action over 32 games. She has also averaged 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists and has a total of 23 steals and 27 blocks.
McPhee is a 6-foot tall junior guard.
The Cardinal opens the NCAA tournament with a 10:30 a.m. Saturday contest against New Mexico State.

Jordan leads Falcons in tourney

McPhee's twin sister Jordan led the Seattle Pacific University Falcons in scoring in their two GNAC tournament games.
She scored a team-high 15 in their 71-60 opening win over Northwest Nazarene on Thursday, March 9 before leading with 11 in a 76-68 semifinal loss to Alaska Anchorage the next day that ended their season.
McPhee averaged 11.2 points over 30 games with 5.2 rebounds and had a total of 56 assists, 53 steals and 10 blocked shots.
