The power outage that hit the area has been fixed and traffic was easing on some of the main routes through West Seattle were clear enough for traffic but the snow that arrived overnight was continuing. The National Weather Service said an addition 1 to 3 inches of snow is likely to fall through the afternoon.

The snow storm that came to the Puget Sound region hit West Seattle pretty hard as multiple power outages in the area put people in the dark and cold early on Monday Feb. 6.
Approximately four to five inches of snow that began falling in earnest after midnight kept both SDOT and City Light crews extremely busy trying to deal with the mess.
